Research Interests
(Solid Chemistry, Structure-Property Relations

  1. Design and Synthesis of New Inorganic Materials

       -  Development of new materials in view of crystal chemistry and physics

       -  Designing of new inorganic electrolyte for battery application by integrating Rietveld refinement with 

           experiments

       -  Electrical conductors and ionic conductors for new energy conversion/storage systems

       -  Growth of single crystals: Molten salt flux method, Chemical vapor transport reaction

       -  Nanostructure and self-assembling process

       -  Study on the correlation between the local structure of chromium ion and the catalytic property for

           propane-dehydrogenation reaction

   2. Analysis on a Structure of Materials using Diffractioin Techniques

       -  Synchrotron, Neutron, X-ray diffraction analysis

       -  X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XANES, EXAFS)
